Apart from the titular ‘30s movie starring Ernst Busch, Kuhle Wampe is also the traditional nickname given to a workers’ camping ground to the South-East of Berlin. This secluded paradise overlooks a score of river boats peacefully bobbing on the clean and shallow waters of Müggelsee.
In summer months this relaxed scene is a perfect stop-off for campers on their way to the capital and also for city slickers looking for a rural respite.
