Station-Berlin - Thrills - Berlin

The Station – the former postal freight depot at Gleisdreieck – in the heart of Berlin – sits between the Deutsches Technikmuseum and the Neue Nationalgalerie. The station’s name means ‘railway triangle’ in English and marks the spot of an earlier major train hub (today only an intersection, albeit without a connection, with the S-Bahn remains) which now is part of the Deutsches Technikmuseum (German Museum of Technology).

Gleisdreieck is the westernmost station in Kreuzberg for both lines and was used for a few years as a M-Bahn station. In 1908 there was a major accident at the station which killed 18 people.Quote_gray

ABC Guide Do the gallery hop

This 9,000 square meter space has hosted a slew of other fairs and conventions, but given its stellar lighting and high ceilings, we think no other space could do such an art exhibition justice.
