Shan Rahimkhan is 800 square meters of pure indulgence. This concept coiffeur is more than just a salon. Appropriately located in the posh Gendarenmarkt, Shan Rahimkhan is a combination hair salon, boutique and cafe. The salon’s namesake proprietor was recently named Germany’s best hairdresser. And while it’s all about luxury, ease and style, there is still something slightly unsettling about the white shirt uniform adorned by the scissor-toting staff.
The boutique (ahem, Casa) carries everything from porcelain unicorn wine-stoppers to Stella McCartney sunglasses to appropriately Zen-inspired jewelry. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, and is a cocktail bar by night.
A perfect place for the perfect haircut or just a day of uptown spoiling.
