Berlin’s esteemed Alps-inspired restaurant serves marvelous South German/Austrian cuisine. Roughly translated, Alpenstück means, “A slice of the Alps.” While much of the fare caters to traditional tastes, Alpenstueck’s epic schnitzels are not necessarily of typical Viennese standards. Draped on top of an amazing potato salad and delicious slices of cucumber, the heavy Schwabenschnitzel delivers a bit of a healthy crunch, making it a unique take on the old favorite.
