<description_plain>Those who think that fashion from Australia and New Zealand merely extends to the humble ugg boot might do a double-take at the rows of soft fabrics, chic lines and expertly tailored denim garments that adorn this boutique.

Opening in June 2009, owner Sam sources pieces from top Australian and New Zealand designers, delivering a seamless, diverse and constantly updated collection of basics (shirts, jeans, tees) and one-off showstoppers like structured blazers and intricately designed dresses. Hip labels like Ksubi, Bassike and Rittenhouse line the wooden racks while feature pieces hang from large, leather-strapped hooks, adding to the overall rustic-yet-tasteful store ambience.

Given the difference in calendar seasons, designs from the southern hemisphere don't hinge so heavily on influences from the large European fashion houses and showcases, allowing for bold new approaches to fashion to develop and prosper in creative pockets such as Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

Thankfully, you no longer need to fork out exorbitant shipping fees to experience the hip-hugging joy of donning a pair of sass&bide jeans or marvel at the sleek, layered textures of a Claude Maus ensemble.</description_plain>
