Following the blow-up success of burrito chains in the U.S., Dolores champions the Tex-Mex specialty in Berlin and satisfies a once-sorely lacking void.

A dizzying array of well-prepared ingredients—like grilled fajita vegetables, spicy chicken mole and cilantro-lime rice—are the staples for the numerous ways these build-your-own burritos can roll out. Otherwise, the notoriously finicky duo who own Dolores keep the freshness in check, while a number of exotic sodas make up the fizzy refreshments. Durem Döners have a new contender.Quote_transparent

In general, I'm not a big fan of Mexican kitchen, but that's probably because I've never had authentic Mexican food. But Dolores is delicious. I go there once a week for lunch, and the heaviest burrito I've ever seen costs just under 5 Euros. My favorite fillings are lime rice, lime tofu, vegetable fajitas, hot salsa and sour cream. Mmmm.
