Anuschka Hoevener opened her own showroom on Kastanienallee in 2003 after returning from New York, where she had worked for Tess Giberson. With a degree in fashion design from the renowned Burg Giebichenstein University, Hoevener now sells her collections from New York to Tokyo.
Her Spring and Fall womenswear collections are based on simple cuts and voluminous decoration. This season features some bulky knitted wool-tubes that assemble around the neck of flowing jersey shirts and dresses.
The small yet open and light showroom sets off the clothing against its minimally designed interior. If you see something you just can’t live without, but the size doesn’t seem right, have it tailored to your specifications in the shop before you buy.
