As of May 2008 carlier | gebauer no longer sits under the arches of Jannowitzbrücke. Rather, they’ve joined many of their fellow galleries in the Zimmerstrasse/Kochstrasse area for some of the best contemporary art the city has to offer.

With a roster of artists that makes you trust their taste, carlier | gebauer has long been a reliable name in Berlin. With their early founding in 1991, the gallery has created a space where solid shows are all but guaranteed.

Artists represented include: Julie Mehretu, Aernout Mik, Paul Pfeiffer, Bojan Šarčević, Thomas Schütte, Amy Sillman, Fred Tomaselli, Luc Tuymans and many more.
