The original Hotel Berlin was opened in 1958. In the “Island of Freedom”, as West Berlin was known at the time, it was the forerunner of a new breed of hotel. Thanks to its perfect situation and passion for old-fashioned hospitality, the Hotel Berlin, Berlin, has long played a part in the history of Berlin.
