The Hunter

The Hunter is more Cupid than Athena—upon entry we feel an arrow in our hearts, immediately falling in love with avant-garde designers like Mel Merio, Marcel Ostertag, C-Neeon, Ute Ploier, Fabrics Interseason and Gail Sorronda. The store champions a mish-mash of genres and styles, i.e. “morbid industrial charm, inspired by the street, a contemporary view on the ‘80s.”

Every season a new theme is explored—”futurama,” “girls are the boys, boys are the girls”—creating concept driven racks, heavy on Austrian labels, reflecting the owner’s nationality.

True to their word, The Hunter also show their slanted view of living in the shop with paintings, pictures and sculptures by in-fashion artists and special shopping events like late night and early morning hours. The fashion collection is rounded out with funky accessories like jewelry, shoes, and hats—and always makes sure that individuality stays in the front row, center.
