The label, Potipoti, was founded in 2005 as a collaboration between two designers, Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo. Operating out of Berlin and Spain, the designers create fashion oriented graphic design, drawings, visual arts and product design. Their distinctive aesthetic is reflected in the variety of products in which they have a hand. Their latest project was a collection of stationery and notebooks produced in conjunction with Labor Viva, a company devoted to providing work for the handicapped.
Potipoti’s designs always incorporate elements of fable and folklore, as in their latest collection for Autumn/Winter ‘08, Totem, inspired by Native American totem poles. Beige, black, navy blue and colorful accents are printed on cotton, mohair, silk and micro-corduroy fabrics. Potipoti products are also available at boutiques like Wood Wood Berlin, Henrik Vibskov Store Copenhagen, Doshaburi in Barcelona and Ships in Tokyo.

Fellow Spaniard designers Poti Poti have been making a name for themselves in the Hauptstadt for quite a while now. Their last winter masks collection was Henrik Vibskov's favorite and they don't seem to stop wanting to surprise. Already huge in Japan, I strongly recommend a stop by their shop.
