The Berlin fashion store Konk has a new concept. Owner Ettina Berríos-Negrón (born Schultze) is again moving forward with fresh trends and fresh design. Her flair for emerging talent has developed Konk into one of the few shops carrying the coveted collections of Berlin labels such as C. Neeon and Kaviar Gauche. Within her carefully selected lines for ladies, Konk also houses a captivating group of local designers such as Bo van Melskens, Franzius and von Wedel & Tiedeken. This seamless flow of cutting-edge fashions are selected to go hand-in-hand with jewelery and accessories created by labels like Alex Monroe, Louise Kragh and Tatty Devine.
The interplay between fashion and art has always defined Konk’s concept. Since 2003, Konk was
founded and became an integral part of Berlin culture, steadily evolving in the avant-
garde scene of this vibrant city.
For this latest edition of Konk, Ettina Berríos-Negrón has commissioned Berlin-based
furniture designer Rainer Spehl. Together they have completely redesigned the store with a
stunning yet elegant interior. The presentation of the minimalist fashions combine with the
romantically subdued detail of the interior, again shaping Konk’s signature entwining of
creative fields. The collections, accessories, jewelery, walls and space complement each other,
merging into a seductive and dynamic space. Graphically clean lines along with materials
such as oak, smoked glass and restrained colour panels set up a cogent environment that
determines the design and Konk’s ever-exciting identity.
