Not in the mood for Sushi but for a good Japanese alternative? Get a similar sensibility with a different taste.

Cooked rather than raw. Kushinoya near Kant Strasse serves up Kushiage: bite sized pieces of meat, fish or (stuffed) vegetables, deep fried and skewered upon sticks made of bamboo—like savory lolly pops.

A casual, classy place, simple yet elegant. The menu tends mainly towards what’s described above, but done to perfection. A take-your-time culinary experience.

Stack up those sticks. Can get expensive, but the Kushiage are worth every Euro.Quote_gray
