Elburai is the place to get authentic Sudanese dishes, like a hearty lentil soup swimming with the red hot spice, shata, or—our favorite—delicious wraps packed with fresh herbs, fava beans and okra. Tea, steeped in spicy cinnamon-spiked leaves, goes down steaming and is on the house. You won’t think the same again of this snack shack after diving into one of its creative concoctions. We mean it.
