The shoebox of a bistro by Kollwitzplatz has been carefully restored with affection, and its organic noshables steeped in tradition are even more lovingly prepared: strudel, thick crusty breads, fresh cheese and the glorious weisswurst—chewy and soaked in juice—are the heavenly dishes of the Alps.

Waitstaff is efficient but sweet, juggling requests for the heavy plates and beer mugs with deft skill. Order inside, then grab a seat on the scenic outdoor patio.
