Quite possibly the only museum dedicated to computer games in Germany. Opened a permanent collection in 1997, but downsized to temporary exhibitions and events by 2000.

Stunning collection of gaming highlights throughout the past few decades.

Opens sporadically, so please check website before considering a visit.

The museum has orchestrated 27 national and international exhibition projects, both autonomously and co-operatively. The Museum received the German children’s culture award in 2002 and hosts Europe’s largest collection of entertainment software and hardware.

It would like to reopen as a permanent collection, but as a non-profit organization, it´s currently seeking financial partnerships.Quote_gray
