Johann König first opened in 2002 at Rosa Luxemburg Platz, and moved in 2006 to its present location, a 5,800 square foot industrial space close to Potsdamer Platz, at the city’s center.

Run by Kirsa Geiser and Johann König the gallery exhibits mid-career artists such as Tue Greenfort, Jeppe Hein, Annette Kelm, Michaela Meise, Natascha Sadr Haghighian, Jordan Wolfson and others.
