Currently the coolest illegal (expect to be quizzed at the door) brewery space that Berlin has on offer, the Villa consists of three floors, room after room plastered with scuzzy graffiti, booming three-meter-tall speakers and excellent French electro-meets-Bmore-club-spinning DJs. When the crowd is good, this venue is unbeatable.
Upon a closer inspection, one notices the ramshackle building’s grand columns and neo-gothic arches—indicators that perhaps the Villa once existed in a more illustrious incarnation. Although we think this one is pretty fantastic too.
