Blurring the boundaries between fashion photography, drawing and painting, FACE/project presents the unique collaborative works of photographer Michelangelo Di Battista and illustrator Tina Berning.

Ignoring digital possibilities for manipulation, the artists explored the potential of utilizing analog skills and methods in the creation of the artworks. Di Battistas’ photographs of women are complemented by Berning‘s detailed applications—with the results exuding complexity and charisma.
