300 Images Sauvages is an exhibition of posters created in the underground scene of Lyon over the past 5 years. They are typical DIY, low budget prints that where immediately glued to the walls of the city during night. Mainly produced for concerts, they shed a light on the promotion, propaganda and self-understanding of a scene that would not be the same without such things.

The chosen works―some of them special screenprints―are now fully archived and can be found in a book that was published in 2009 by Barbe à Pop.

The exhibition runs for just another week and it’s about as good an excuse as you should need to head down to Staalplaat and rifle through their choice catalogue of experimental releases.Quote_transparent
