Driven by the desire to show the passage of time through images that appear alive and moving, Myers’ work recalls the process of the human eye, where images are destructed and transformed. Rather than capturing a single frozen moment, Myers scopes out his subject in minute detail, collecting numerous pictures which is later combined into the large-scale panoramas.

Employing the combination of digital photography and computer technology, Myers pursues and pushes the limits of traditional collage with the implementation of modern techniques. If there is initial irritation when viewing the works, it very soon gives way to the urgent desire to dive deeper into the matter.
