Don’t Panic Berlin will be hosting open workshops through the day where you will be invited to join the design team and produce artwork for the distinctive brown paper pack or the A2 colour poster. You’ll have the opportunity to submit your designs into a competition where the winning entry will be selected as the official pack or poster design for a forthcoming issue of Don’t Panic to be printed and distributed all over Berlin for a month.

Two special workshops will be taking place with guest artists Dave the Chimp and Mymo who have both featured as pack and poster designers for Don’t Panic earlier this year. Dave the Chimp is a UK born Berlin-dwelling graffiti artist, and one of the first to hit the streets with brushes and acrylic paint, he is also known for his illustrations, music videos and skateboards designs for label Hessenmob.

Berlin artist Mymo has gained recent international recognition as one of the most reputable females in street art, adorning cities all over the world with her instantly recognisable and lovable monsters. Join either of these two to produce a limited edition insert for the pack Don’t Panic launched in Berlin in March 2009 and have since been producing special brown paper packs each month packed with artwork, flyers, stickers and posters to tell you of exciting events, places and people around the city.
