Mixing popular iconography with exaggerated fairytale, mythological and religious elements, photographic duo Pierre Comoy (photographer) and Gilles Blanchard (re-toucher) have been photoshopping their way to stardom since 1976.

The pair have worked their highly stylized and campy magic on images of Madonna, Iggy Pop, Serge Gainsbourg, Paloma Picasso and Kylie Minogue, as well as shooting the cover of CocoRosie’s 2007 album The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn.
