<description_plain>The sunny beaches of California haven't made much of a musical impact on this San Diego two-piece. Brandishing a dark, lo-fi, reverb-heavy sound best described as electro psych rock, the duo's talent was first showcased in their former incarnation as The Plot to Blow up the Eiffel Tower.

Often described as a darker counterpart to MGMT, this parallel begs a bit more context—the Crocodiles are more like MGMT fused with Thurston Moore, John Cale and Tom Verlaine.</description_plain>
