The Royal Fashion Academy of Antwerp, considered globally as the best fashion school in the world for progressive, avant-garde fashion, is marked by the famed reputation of 1980s grads, the “Antwerp Six.” Students of today are inspired by their predecessors but are ready to start reputations of their own.
Thus, Sameheads and The Hunter Berlin present “The New Antwerp Six,” consisting of six emerging young designers—Eva Dunis, Setareh Mohtarez, Glenn Martens, Lion Blau, Paula Selby Avellaneda and Fred Hornof—from Antwerp’s Royal Academy. Their work, along with the work of several promising new Berlin designers will make up an exhibition at the brand new loft location, Atelier D.
The party goes late with music provided by DJ’s Emil Doesnt Drive, DSB. Rat Dextrino and Franz Underwear.
