Philadelphian Scott Beiben, founder of the traveling Lost Film Fest, is according to Wired, “The visual equivalent of a House DJ spinning records.”
His screenings consist of a sort of mix-tape of rare short films with a taste of politics, social change, activism, eco-futurism, and creativity. Using media-censored clips, illegal and Creative Commons licensed art, and live performance, Beiben bridges the divide between the academic and pop-culture worlds.
The screening will be followed up with a DJ set with Neukölln’s Shameless Limitless collective.
