Knowing the name Wolfgang Voigt might be a basic in electronic music—he published music under the name Mike Ink, Blei, Love Inc. or Grungemann and founded the renown label, Kompakt.
The opening concert of this year’s Clubtransmediale: Structures is one of the rare occasions to listen to Voigt’s live project GAS, ranging between acid rave and archaic natural romanticism.
The concert is visualized with a video performance in cooperation with Petra Hollenbach, based on thousands of pictures Voigt took in the illusive undergrowth of German forests.
