 the new sub-label under the roof of Karaoke Kalk. Pascal Schäfer\, who has
  already released his recent debut album 'Dawn' as well as his 2003 EP 'Mel
 ody Express' on Karaoke Kalk\, started the Kalk Pets series with his 'Rythm
 es EP'. The three tracks are called 'Mystére'\, 'Poupée' and 'L'orgue' an
 d take up roughly where 'Melody Express' ended. Kalk Pets establishes anoth
 er platform for the artists already known from Karaoke Kalk\, with their un
 ique idea of music and characteristic complexity. In addition\, Kalk Pets o
 pens up new possibilities for the label itself\, offering a brand name sayi
 ng: somehow kalk-ish\, yet definitely meant and made for the dancefloor. Ho
 wever\, it's not only some of the well known Karaoke Kalk acts who will be 
 appearing on the occasional Kalk Pets releases-there'll certainly be others
  as yet unknown as well as familiar names like Antonelli\, Daniel Meteo\, D
 onna Regina and Paul Frick.\n\n
