The main goal of Music Hack Day, initiated by David Haynes, is to explore and build the next generation of music applications. It’s a full weekend of hacking in which participants will conceptualize, create and present their projects. Hardware meets Software meets Online, all connected via music.
There“s only one weekend to conceptualize, build, & present the projects.
The first ever Music Hack Day took place in London at The Guardian on July 11-12 2009. 200 people and 10 companies participated, including Last.fm, the Echo Nest, SoundCloud, Songkick, RjDj and the BBC.
