Planning Our Electric Zoo Pilgrimage
We take any excuse to hop on a plane (though not an Airbus!) headed for New York, but the Electric Zoo festival is no excuse, it’s a magnet demanding our presence. For Labor Day weekend—the 5th and 6th of September—an abundance of international DJs are flowing into the city with their turntables in tow.
New Yorkers should be gleeful—while many on the line-up are Berlin mainstays, they rarely see the light of New York City day. The list of artists makes us stutter with excitement (and is certainly too long to list here), but we’ll tempt you with names like Busy P, DJ Mehdi, James Murphy and Pat Mahoney (of LCD Soundsystem), Steve Aoki and Andy Butler (of Hercules and Love Affair).
